My favorite plein air experience so far–A wonderful afternoon spent in a peaceful setting on Skegemog Point Road in Williamsburg, Michigan. I was able to complete 80% of this painting on site, added the grass and tweaked the tree stump then sold to a very interesting gentleman from Wisconsin! Thanks Bob, Enjoy!
Double the viewing pleasure with this reflection pond amid the coral. Great memory from a recent scuba diving trip with even greater friends.
Sorry for the blur, but how appropriate—this was the result of my first ever Plein Air Quick Draw competition and it was in of itself, a blur!
Done at Fountain Point Resort in Lake Leelanau, Michigan during the inaugural Paint Grand Traverse week. How lucky I was to be able to participate let alone sell my painting while it was still wet! We had just 2 hours to complete our work, frame it, and submit for judging. It was exhilarating (and a little stressful).I forgot to take a picture of it before I turned it in but was able to grab this very bad photo inside the gallery as it was sold. I am so thrilled.
